Cool vid, I love the sound of those Aprilias, quite unique in amongst all the singles.

Test rode an XR650 today in the pouring rain (I was that keen to have a go). It was excellent. Going through town, blip the throttle, pop a wheelie, massive backfire noises as it decellerates, everyone on the footpath looks startled

I'd be keen to get one, but it's going to cost around $1000 to get my VFR road legal so I just can't afford it right now. Maybe I'll get a cheapie like that CR250 on trademe or the cheap husaberg at Motorad in the nearish future.

    It isnt.
I have had worse luck with water cooled stuck in traffic. Seems when water gets hot it takes longer to cool.
And it just keeps getting hotter till it blows. Air/Oil seems to limit.

Time for some more video clips I just found:
Onboard Camera around Infineon Race way:

And one for any doubters of the DRZ400, cant understand a word of it, but it's pretty cool:

Both wheels sideways at once, yes

I think he was just getting frustrated.
Heading into a corner at 140kph, you want a bit of confidance in the front grip and he didn't have any

Good to see the carbon wheels have stood up to the test over the last few years.
    They do look the biz.
