I'd go for the R6 or CBR 600 personally... every other guy has a GSXR
and the kawaka 600 doesnt cut it for me I'd rather just get the thou.

I prefer my little red 6 hundy - sounds better too and doesn't have the word 'Arse' in it's name....y'know Yama Har Arse Ix I'll content myself watching jap inline 4 six undies fly past me on the straight so I can fly past them while they discuss the merits of bus travel with orificer plod

There's a good reason gixxers are popular though. They're obviously damn fine bikes. Unfortunatly like STi WRX's it makes them pretty common on the road.

bikerboy011, ride them all then make the call unless you're buying on looks. If you're buying on looks get the one that comes in the colours you like (probably be a honda if you shop like that)

Seriously they're all good. They're all far better than the same bikes 5 years ago. They're all so good that you may not be able to make a real distinction between them.

I suggest you check out the 2006 and 2007 motorcycle-usa.com shootout. I've linked directly to the last page which has the conlclusions but it's all worth reading.
