Crikey! Thanks for all the well wishers peeps! I've just got back in the door from doing the mini coro loop and visiting DMNTD and Unit in their neck of the woods (I coulda swear I heard banjos...) ... I went back via the Kaimais and along to the 'Tron and back up to home base.

Had a feed at the Lone Star and stone the flipp'n crows if'n DMNTD didn't know where it was! Nice photo exhibition down by the waterfront as well.

I was a bit wary of DMNTD and his "new age" ways. But, he convinced me he was as crazy as ever by talking bike stuff ... between him and Unit, the gargre is praked full of sprotsbike! Had a sit on some his bikes, and being the easy bike slut that I am, I love them!

Damn, I still feel like riding ...

Oh well, there's always tomorrow ...

Make sure you get a ferry ticket and come to visit the Catlins once you've got your large capacity ride.

Well done - here's to not binning on a corner in Ardmore, not sliding off Twilight Road and not low siding on SH22 in the next 82,000km!

    See ye soon laddie.
Whaddya mean? I'm riding around the whole of the South Island on the little ol'hornet! Larger capacity bike psh!

I have you know that it was a good quality bin in Ardmore with The_Dover, a planting of Hondaberries in Twilight and Rattling off a Corner in Raglan!

For my next trick, I will ride bikes of diminishing cc's whilst still keeping the milage up!

Eventually I will end up riding NZ on a minimoto...

The testing officer at VTNZ Takanini, has just handed me my temporary paper licence validating me as a bona fide full time two wheeled enthusiast!

    3pm I turn up.
    3.05pm Run through bike check
    3.08pm Start test proper
    3.20pm Finish test
3.25pm I have bit of paper in hand!

So, after one year of riding, 82,000 + km of travel (68 thou on little ol'hornet, 15 thou on Daisy), 4 sets of Diablos, 1 chain and sprockets, 2 drops, 1 off, 2 low sides and a whole swag load of mates from KB ....

    What do I think?

    I love biking.
    Lots.
    I really do mean lots.

As for the usual route people follow, I ride in the opposite direction, will keep riding my 250s for a while, and will buy bigger bikes in March/April next year ... hopefully I will have 6 bikes by the end of next year all praked in the gargre! Sprots next to nekkids next to crusier next to motard next to... (you get the idea)

Now, I guess I can go riding after 10pm and before the hours of 6am

What... you say I did that anyways?

Guess I better buy some more bling for the little ol'hornet now!

youve put 68,000 k's on that hornet...holy crap man :|

thats alot on one bike...well done

i dnt keep my bikes long enough...before selling/ totalling them to be able to say that...never actually totalled a bike yet...always been rideable after...

in saying that zxr's do crash very very well.

bloodey awesome man going to get a 600 or something now or stick with the trusty hornet for a while if ya selling hte hornet...how much u gunna be after for her...could be keen.

That makes teachers appear to be overpaid, and if you also have the time to ride that lot, underworked

Make that ... no kids, no wife, no mortgage! Work frikk'n hard in your classes and get the kids to self-mark... plus its a good incentive to ensure I have the time to ride by having it all done toot sweet!

But then, as everyone knows, I tend to do things a lot differently to other people! Its always funny when the kids ask

"sir, where did you ride yesterday?"

    "Oh, Tauranga/Whangarei/Hamilton/Raglan/etc etc"
    "When?"
"Oh, 5.30pm... after I left school"
    "???"
"See kids, when you ain't married with kids, no mortgage, you can do as you please ... see how your parents are? Slaving their guts out so they can put your sorry arses in front of me. You better appreciate them, 'cause I appreciate it when I ride away from you lot!"

    "......."

Wicked cool. Playing with the kids is like a cat playing with a mouse its dropped in the bath. Cruel, but entertaining!

Only until your mother finds you a suitable mate. Then you're toast.

Justin stuck at home doing all the household stuff and looking after the kids. What a picture.

What!!? I thought you were my mate! I think my vision will have to clean that up a bit by :

"Stuck on a bike with his missus haring ahead on a brand new ride whilst he plonks along on his little ol'hornet, baby seat on the back and the washing drying on the 'zorsts..."

I think I felt a cold shiver run down my spine...

(I'm like a pokemon, gotta catch 'im first!)
