    Question Hyosung GV250

Hi I am looking at getting the Hyosung Aquila GV250. I have taken one for a test ride today and I really enjoyed the comfort and the Looks. Just wondering what other Hyosung riders think. have you had any problem? I am looking at getting a New or near new one. I have been reading the other posts, just there haven't been any recent. post on them. Cheers. Aaron

I am seriously looking at the Hyosung Aquila GV250. If anyone has a new one or near new they want to sell please let me know. If I get the Hyosung would also be looking at getting a screen, Sissy bar(pillion back rest) and Saddle bags, so if any one who sells these could you work out a price.

The bike that I have now is a 1993 Suzuki Across. A couple of weeks ago I was forced of my bike by a RV Driver. into a centre Island hitting a tree (at 40-50Km). So now I am waiting for insurance to find out weather they a going to fix it or write it off. Thankfully i wasn't hurt, I walked and rode the bike home. but it needs new forks and front bracket that holds the front lights and instruments, fairings etc.

same engine as the GT250, which i think really suits a cruiser more than a sports bike with the torque coming out of it. i rode with a guy on a GV a while back and he swears by it

there are a few of them floating around for around 4k. definitely better value for money than teh GT's if you are into the cruiser look

Yeh I have been riding a Suzuki GSX Across. Which was great, Me and a friend who owns a Boulevard C90T goes for rides on Sundays in the country and it's nicer to ride a cruiser(get a bit of a sore ass on the Sports bikes). If anyone sells them new or a S/hand one with loww Kms I might be interested. I want to get a front Screen, A sissy Bar and saddle bags, if anyone has any or know where i can get a good deal would be much appreciated.

    Thumbs up

Mines had zero problems with the exception of a cosmetic flaw (the writing on the air filter cover started to warp or something) dealer replaced it first service so no biggie.

Mechanically superb and I've owned more expensive bikes that have had faults

My wife drives the GT250 each day she likes hers but I think I actually prefer to the Aquila for around town nice sitting position.

Let me know how much your being charged for your Aquila before you sign off from the dealer might be able to refer you and get you a better deal from the guys I got mine from.

Cool thanks. I am thinking of sending a few letters around to a few Bike shop getting quotes. that's what my friend did when he bought his Boulevard C90T. That saved him a few hundred of dollars. Where dis you get yours from?

You will get a better response going to the shops yourself (local ones I mean) rather then writing a letter.

Don't forget to also check out Honda Magna VT250 (Jerms has a hugely pimped out white color one - there are photos of it on our website) and Yamaha Virago XV250.

Both are excellent bikes with different feeling and looks to them and have a proven track record.

Screens piss easy to find and fit - sissy bar and rack can be a bit more work finding something of the right measurements. Probably can get custom grips and mirrors fitted as it's fair common for metric and imperial accessories now.
