I went from a 250 to a 1200 (well, 1164 to be precise). Apart from having to spend money, it was largely painless. It was almost exactly a year ago as well.

    Have fun on that Honda!
    Whoa! that's crazy...

    Ah I can't wait.......

    But I have too :sneaky2:

good choice!! not really a honda kinda guy but they are a useful piece of kit. just be careful when buying they do have a few gremlins in the timing and induction. nothing that a quick read on the net wouldn't fix.

my history is a bit rocky, started riding in 1999 i have had 5X 250's 1x 600 and the 1X 750. yeah... about the 250's, just say i was a slow learner
yeah... sorry bro, i thought that ment miles 'n hour.

    started on a 350 S2 tripple
    worked up from there
still own the second bike i bought an 500 H1 tripple
have had a few over the years, nothing smaller than a 500 though
if you get the chance take a ZX10R for a test ride,
may change mind about the honda

    Yeah, the SP's not bad.
    I started on a CB350, then a GT380, RD400, GT550, Kaw 900, Z1R, GSX750, Duke Darmah, GSXR750RR, CBR1100XX, Hayabusa and I'm currently considering my options.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

    Big toys

In answer to your question......list below...
Started when I was 15 with a 125, and progressevly (or regressed) moved on to bigger and wider things - i'm now riding a 1400, and it has plenty of everything, and rides it's self pretty much, I just tag along on the seat and point the bars in the direction i think I should be going -

Good luck with your new mount...when you get it!
If I were you...............then who would be me???
    CB125 - CB200 - CB400/4 - CB650 - XJ600 - XJ550 - GPZ900R - CBX750F2 - GSX1100F - GSX1400K2

DB is the new Porridge. Cause most of the mods must be sucking his cock ..... Or his giving them some oral help? How else can you explain it?

    I like SP1's
I had a RG150 then brought a new TL1000S then a Trumpy TT600 then the ZX7R and after that the HD.
