Now I know the diferances between the SP1 and 2 & 3's but how about the SP5? whats the deal there, I heard after the SP3 that that was the end of the V2.
There are a couple of SP-5's in the latest motorcycle trader, dunno what the diff is, they all look the same except for the colour scheme.

I think there is a weight difference and slight set up differences. But i think the sp-1 is the sexiest bike in the whole world. Deano can attest to that cause he watched me drool (not over but very close to) his bike at the waikato rally

umm... you know what? I am a MAD RSV fan, I've wanted one ever since they came out in 98... but that new 04 front end really is a bit heinous. Its ok from a distance but up close it looks like someone jammed an icecream lid down either side. Its a real ugly stain on what is otherwise a dead sexy machine.. and the same goes for my thoughts on the SP's. I have no problem with the rest of the bike but no amount of ram-air mechanical advantage can make up for that look.
