    North Western

Was going along the North Western towards Te Atatu the other day during rush hour, lane splitting through traffic and I could have sworn that I heard "Pull off the road!" from a megaphone so I anxiously started searching my mirrors for the flashing lights, but alas, couldn't find any so I just carried on my merry way.

Did I run from the coppers or just some joker in his car with a megaphone handy for any bikers that might pass him?

Not your problem you didn't know where or who the person was.

If it was the cops and they do catch up with you then it would be a perfect time to tell them to do their job properly rather than yelling at you from god knows where

There are some cages with loudspeaker systems fitted. I had a "Nice bike Dude!" from a cage, a while back!
Had me wondering where it came from for a second until I spotted the passenger with a microphone!

Sounds more like a prank or you're hearing voices.

Unless I have blue and/or red flashing lights behind me I'm not pulling off the road for anyone. I reckon you did the right thing.
