    Smile new boots

I got some new boots today

I had been just riding in steel cap boots since I started riding at the beginning of the year. But thanks to Quasievil and the people who donated the prizes to for the Waikato Rally, I won a pair of boots . But they were too small, and the suppliers couldn't exchange them for a bigger pair, so I was advised to sell them and put the money towards some new boots. Anyway, Posh Tourer bought the boots off me, and I had a look at motomail on sunday, and then a couple of shops today and Mike at Mount Eden Motorcycles gave me a great deal on the last pair of this type/size of boot that he had.

So thanks again to Quasievil, WhiteTrash, Posh Tourer and Mike at Mt. Eden Motorcycles!

Maybe W2 stands for Wahoo! my 2 feet will be dry now!

So I guess you can afford to fall off some more now that you've got decent boots..

Nice one Erik! I am still seeking a boot that will fit me.

Very nice boots, Certainly should help keep your feet intack. But they look a little too clean and shiney. I think you need to fix that.

How about a pair of Diadora Race boots, size 40?

They're pretty good, but they're still quite tight. They should stretch a bit as I wear them in, I've only worn them for about 25 minutes of commuting, from the bikeshop to home so far. One thing I did notice was that it feels a whole lot less draughty around my ankles; my old boots did cover my ankles, but didn't go up much higher, which left a bit of a gap between the bottom of the bikepants and the boots for wind and rain to get in.

I've got no idea what the 'W' stands for :spudwhat:
