I think that's it's really well priced, and gee the big Rotax must howl eh!
But it is ugly, in a Bull Terrier sort of way. And for that reason; I'm out.
    I won't be investing...

I'm surprised... if it goes as good as they say then I would have expected a higher price tag, esp considering the XB12S/R are around that price.
    Because I can.

Bike performance is so far over my head that I don't worry about it. All I worry about is do I enjoy riding it and does it look good to me.
I may enjoy riding the 1125 since I certainly enjoy the XB12S. But the fairings just don't do it for me, same reason why I don't like the XB12R even though it's more or less the same bike as the S.

    I really like the fairing.

Apart from the weird looking scoops it's pretty much the same as a firebolt - arse etc.

I know how well all the other innovations work. Really looking forward to riding it.

Should I assume that KR has lined up a test ride for you?

    If so, you must share.

    Yup.

This is from a friend of Erik's.

    How cool is that.

Plethora with a Mexican accent? How the hell do you say that? "Si Seeenioor. There eeeesss un pleeethoraa of fooolllk."

But, yeah, point taken. Speed fours and the ugly stick have certainly been introduced (although the "see it in the flesh" exception applies). Mind you, they're not as intimate as the TT was/is. Or the bizarre flange flaps that the new Buell seems to have sprouted.

    Excellent effort.

I had a loooooong talk to "she who must be obeyed" last night and the consensus* was that we had agreed to not make any major investments until we had reduced the mortgage by a chunk. "But hon," I said (sounding just like Eric Cartman "its what I really want".

Men will be familiar with what I mean by "Consensus" : We talked it over, had a vote (one in favour, one against, and I lost.....)

So looks like I am keeping the Hornet till the end of summer and maybe, just maybe I can swing it for spring 08......

Perfection is not something you should ever attain, but something to always strive for. For if we actually achieve our idea of perfection, is it then any longer perfect?
