'99 and '00 were similar, carbed with the black plastic intakes, then '01-'03 they went fuel injected with the different tail, fairing uppers, other wheels, black frame, clocks etc.
In the original post he says 2000ish..... hence my input...
The riding position is almost the same . In fact, the seat is a bit lower on the F4i, as I've experienced after changing the rear assembly and there is more under seat storage with the F4i assembly.
Either way, both good bikes. I just couldn't justify the extra money for the F4i when I got mine........
Always a fun time, looking for a new bike.....

Thanks guys, nah i didnt mean the one with the aftermarket exaust it was a normal looking one, had a very nice looking Liquid Crystal Display for everything, makes it look so much more snazzy, also the guy who owns it must polish it every night or something coz its rather shiny every day.
now i just gotta find one in wellington! anyone selling at the mo
Also i meant the 2000 year one coz i was more interested in the LCD than something normal lol.

If it had a LCD display, it would be '01-'03. The '99 & '00 have analogue speedo's and rev. counters.

    Over-priced?

The Red Baron example in the BikePoint link has $10,995 on it. I have no idea but is this excessive? If not then I have a WHOLE lot more saving to do to get a decent all round sports bike!
Someday we'll look back on this, laugh nervously and change the subject.

I got my 98 a few months back and have never regretted it.
