Who needs a TV when you've got a computer? I think I spend perhaps 2 hours at the telly a week...

Curtains are rarely drawn at our house.

I don't own a baseball cap and haven't worn one for more than 15 years.

Thank god about the Algeria thing, I was starting to get worried. And no, I would never want to be a legionnaire - they speak french for starters...

Now if you will allow me one question - what was your post about? I sure as hell didn't get it...
It is preferential to refrain from the utilisation of grandiose verbiage in the circumstance that your intellectualisation can be expressed using comparatively simplistic lexicological entities. (...such as the word fuck.)

Well, the Reds certainly called it a civil war. Officially , "Civil War and Military Intervention of 1917-1922".

I guess the Cossacks and Poles probably would have called it The War of Liberation or such like. Except that they lost, so they were all killed and didn't get to call it anything.

Stalin wasn't a player, Lenin and Trotsky back then. And Generals Denekin and Alexseev on the White side (and Yudenich later, in Estonia) And, I guess, in theory, the Tsar.

15 million is the generally accepted figure for total deaths (pogroms, purges, battles, starvation, disease)

Was actually meaning "the great terror" of the 30s,thousands of executions and millons sent off to the gulag labour camps which resulted in death anyway.Stalin saw it as ridding the party of enemies but it didnt help much when Hitler invaded.

15 Million deaths. 5 million Ukranians alone. Stalin wasn't his name, it was his party nickname. His real surname was Ossetian for Garbage.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

    just think

this thread has been going on since november 2007 now and, despite all the queries and requests for clarification aimed at him the original poster, Phil W, hasn't posted another thing since ....................

it seems to me that THAT makes this a dummy-spit - devisive, spiteful and totally unspecific mud-slinging............ 'cause if it were intended to improve the site, or help explore and rectify what he percieves as wrong, he'd have hung around to explain his point of view

soooooooooooo - you don't need US Phil W??
    well, guess what ....

    - and, if you are still listening, it's nothing to do with the colour of your skin, what you ride or whether you are male, female or otherwisely-engaged ....

it's cause you are a coward,
unwilling to stand behind what you've dished out and be accountable for your twaddle.

you have a nice day now
