If your pipes are not original equipment and are very loud, a knowledgeable wof tester may want to see a LVVC - that's a certificate that says the pipes comply with the dB allowed (95dB). Usually it's all good tho.
Cop on the side of the road...hmmmm, carry a cert if you are worried.
Birds probably aint Kiwis if they are on your roof.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Keep the noise down will ya, then the cops won't notice.

Check out the Vehicle Inspection requirements Manual for WOF on the Land Transport NZ website here http://www.landtransport.govt.nz/cer...vice-wof-only/

The key words in there regarding rejection for WOF are:

The noise output is noticeably and significantly
louder than it would have been when the vehicle was
manufactured with its original exhaust system.

    Birds are probably Myna birds.
    Cheers

The ex Mrs Random, back in the day, used to refer to such unidentifiable brown avians as 'mutt birds'.
kiwibiker is full of love, an disrespect.

1/ Not if the brakes are stuffed

2/ They can tell you what they want, just smile and pay the fine.

3/ If they are wearing boots and a dinky little safety helmet with a lamp they'll be miner birds, originally from India so it's ok to shoot them.
