Well, this one time, at band camp...
Went to go for a ride with an ex-workmate last night. Got to his place, he wasn't ready (have you noticed how men take forever to get ready? Haha)
So I turn off the bike and sit on it to wait for him. While I wait my bike alarm passively arms itself (as per default settings), but I don't hear the blip from inside my helmet.
Friend is finally ready. I turn the ignition back on and the bike displays the FI error code which I had previously noted from the manual (yes I read it), means bad stuff has happened. The bike alarm doesn't go off.
Bike is trying to turn over but engine won't catch. So it's not kill switchQuick check of everything else, all clear.
So I phone a couple of people then someone from Wellington Motorcycles who kindly offers to come and help. I park bike, arm the alarm and go inside for a bevvy.
WMCC tech turns up, I go outside and de-activate the alarm and of course bike starts first time, no error code
My SV alarm goes mental if you don't disarm it before turning on the ignition. So that's my bad blonde moment. But the troops rallied and a HUGE thanks to the WMCC tech who came out to help in his own time.

You must spread it around before.....
Suck, Squeeze, Bang, Blow arent just the 4 cycles of an engine
