What should Honda call the new FireBlade?

Honda's aim is to be the first bike with 1hp/kg - with 165hp and 165kg!!!

Honda’s 1000cc replacement for the legendary FireBlade is due for release in September but the FireBlade name will be withdrawn because Project Leader Tadao Baba, who has been responsible for the FireBlade since it’s launch in 1992, has retired.

Nobody knows what it will be called yet but we’re interested to know your opinions on what name the new bike should have.

Let us know what you think by sending an email to james.tindall@emap.com with ‘Blade Name’ in the subject box

    Anything but Fireblade.
It's not a fireblade anymore. It's not even a CBR

Anyone but me noticed the similarity in the names "Fireblade" and "Katana"?

Assuming Honda followed Suzuki's lead, maybe now they could follow up on Kawasaki's Avenger moniker with "Revenger"? Might be fitting for all those who bought blades and failed to win races on them...
