The 'pro' of my answer would be that my answer was good for making you (and possibly others) aware that the (almost)mighty VFRXXX can be considered a sprotsbike.
It's not a sportsbike so be quiet. The handlebars are in the wrong place. The only VFRs that were proper sports bikes were either 400cc or was also known as the RC30.

A 4 cylinder 600cc bike will be fine, you'll be able to handle it. In reality very few of them are raced so they are actually designed for humans to ride to work on and go for a bit of holiday on. If they were really race bikes like the manufacturers make out, there would be no pillion seat or pegs, lights and stuff would be an option, the suspension would be much firmer and they'd come with super soft tyres out of the box.

Go ride one. You've got nothing to loose. See if you can ride one for most of a day. The biggest 'I see the difference' moment will be when you get back on your Monster.

    uhhh no.

The "proper" vfr sport bikes were the NC30 and the RC30 was the 750 version

and a vfr is the sexyest sports bike ever.... the RC45... well, thats an RVF but its same shit different day...

    RVF 750's rock major like.

You misunderstand me. We mean the same things.
I own an NC35. And have given some thought to having massive debt but living the dream and buying the RC45 at the bike shop in Wanganui. But we are getting OT.
