    I'd need a drink too.
I wouldn't want people to think I was easy, or a slut, or like that there.

At this point I should sadly correct your flattering but incorrect assumption; I don't wear a black one-piece and Italian-flag-pattern Arai.

I'm afraid the only extant photo of me wheelieing anything involves neither cracks in continuums nor forests.

kiwibiker is full of love, an disrespect.

Okay, for the record - the road was perfectly clear in the opposite direction, with concrete barriers - the only place better to do it would have been Meremere. He was in good control, and the conditions were perfect.

Tricks do have a point, wheelies are about throttle control, stoppies are about weight transfer and brake finese. I had an old woman stop (for no reason whatsoever) suddenly in front of me a couple of days ago with no brake lights - the hours of trying to perfect braking paid of with me not burying scoot up her stupid ass. (I had a small discussion with her, Ethel was just having a senior moment, quietly suggested that she considered handing in her licence...).

I don't recommend or advocate pulling dumb shit in traffic (or next to schools etc) - but at least the rider has some semblance of control.

Someone made a point about drunk drivers and then there was one about 10 years for stunting - I won't drink at all and ride, and my limit is ONE beer for driving. We have a cultural problem here with attitude and aggression; bikes are dangerous, but it's okay to be completely pissed and drive. IT'S NOT FUCKING OKAY. I've been written off by two drunk drivers, and lost family members. I'd like to see 10 years off the road for the first offence, and I'd like to see cars impounded immediately. Second offence should be significant jail time. That'd sort some of them, my mate Grim and I can sort the rest

I'm guessing this post may fire things up, and yes, I'm kinding shooting from the hip... Mind you, if it were up to me, I'd ban cars, country music and rap would be illegal, and Shortland St stars would get deported...

hey man ... ya left out the Jews....??

In the right environment they can look very impressive but in stupid places no matter how impressive the bike might look, the rider is a dick. Unfortunately lots of riders only seem to care that ts' earn the ooohhhs and aaaaahhhhhs of their mates even when done where other people are at risk (just watch the you tube footage of the bikes being filmed from a car). Classic case of "i'm da man" to knobhead in a split second.
What can you say aye, people living on the edge...
