The point is more that even if they do, it doesn't count.

Hey, since when did Warwick let you have an internet connection in the kitchen, anyway?

I look forward to a demo!

Not illegal on a (on topic) Pubic 'closed road'

The front wheel is in the air, far more then on the gorund.

Note... "Wheelstands in public"... i.e. public roads with the public on them.

Actually you are once again making a sweeping generalisation of a statement here… opinions are great and are always welcome. However getting mildly insulting and/or stroppy about the people who don’t agree with you on an internet forum is actually errr “Trolling”

Healthy debate is a good thing IMO, ask Hitcher, we have those on a regular basis!

Mmm, not necessarily, not if it's driven by genuine irritation.

The term 'trolling' derives from the method of fishing where you drop a line into the water and drag it along to see what bites.

Posts are trolls if they are simply attempts to elicit a response, rather than the genuine opinion of the poster.

If dipshit really does think that people who wheelie are plonkers, he's not trolling.

I have raised my opinions relevant to this thread. i.e... wheelies are not a critical skill for road use and is not something that someone would call upon to get out of trouble with... And that it only increases the risk in an already statistically dangerous activity. Such riding is about showing off to others.

It is you that has ignored these points and turned it personal.

Sorry mate but I have to disagree with ya there, For me doing a nice long wheelie that is smooth and high is a real rush and I love doing them, but I normally only do them when I am alone or with another rider or two that are into them also, i have never pulled a wheelie in a large group just to "show off"

I think everyone would agree that rapid acceleration can help you out of a problem. Depending on the bike that could mean that the front wheel may come up. So knowing about wheelies could be a good thing right?

Lighten up - you will enjoy it here more.

Interesting. Thanks. I wonder how many wheelies are pulled in the middle of nowhere with no one to see, versus only in front of an audience???

That depends on whether one is passing a car at the time.
