Possibly. I think Bluewing Honda sold about two of these in New Zealand. It could be one of those.

X-11. Naked Blackbird. I've seen them advertised overseas, but wasn't aware of any being imported into NZ by Honda.

You're probably right about it being an import. Probably from the UK as they never got to the US.

Plus (and bite me if you don't like it), I love my Hondas...

Use of the singular form is apt. Bluewing Honda sold fuck all of them, possibly even into the single figures, as noted above. Largely because they were overpriced and "unfortunately" styled, compared with other muscle bikes in this class. The arrival of the CB1300 represented a more sensible approach to both styling and pricing on Honda's part, which is why they've sold squillions of those. Comparatively.

Looks like a pig, the CB1300 is a far better looking bike in my opinion.

No worries at all. Take one for a ride and be prepared to be very surprised. Lots of low-down torque, "natural" riding position, decent mirrors and good seat height make them way better propositions amongst the slow and the tight than a pile-bleeding sprotsbike. Think about it.
