    New tyres, new brand?

    Hey all,

Looks like the rear needs attention and I'm wondering if I should try something different this time. I've been using the Pirelli MT75 rear for about 2-3 tyres now. Been thinking if I should try something different this time.

Any of you FXR owners vouch for another tyre?

Suppose I should really change the front while I'm at it, I'm about 50km away from hitting 20k and so is the front tyre. The bloody thing just won't die, heaps of life left in it too.

BT39SS (front and rear) on my FXR - fantastic - wet or dry, stick like the proverbial. Are wearing well (probably due to lightness of the bike i assume)

We use Pirelli MT-18's on our 150, although I suppose you want something more road oriented right?

Too fucking much.... about 210 for the front and 260 for the rear.... The BT-39SS is cheaper (175 for front and 200 rear????) not as good at the TT900 but pretty close to it....

Mileage would depend on your riding style.... I got 1500kms on my rear before is started looking tired but have squeezed 2000kms out of it.... the front lasts a good 6-7000kms so dont need to worry about that..... the rear should last you about 4000-5000kms.....

Highly recommend them, change the handling completely....
