Thumbs up Good On Ya, Bikers!

On the way to work this morning, an old and dazed-looking poodle was wandering very slowly around amongst the traffic at the intersection of Onewa and Queen. Of course, the car drivers just swerved, tooted their horns, and no doubt said some words about the stupid dog. Enter stage left: a GN250 rider with a 916 rider on his tail, lane-splitting. The 916 rider stops in front of one queue of traffic, while the 250 rider grabs the dog by its collar, paddls his bike across in front of the traffic, and deposits the animal up the nearest driveway, where it stands looking around going, "WTF was that all about? Where am I?"

Nice to see commonsense and compassion at work in the biker community.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

Just goes to show that bikers really are the nicest, most considerate people. But we knew that all along!

Hah hah. Good call manuboy. Where is out roving reporter when we need her. Jaz! Was that you and your mighty GN? Surely not?

Nice to see that bikers triumph again as being the nicest & most sensible types on the road.
My goal in life is to be as good a person as my dog already thinks I am.

    awwww

That made my heart go a flutter Glad to hear that happens. I can't believe some people in their cars (would be suicide on a bike) AIM for small animals crossing the road, eg possums, rabbits, GN250's. Regardless of how much of a pest an animal may be, you can't guarantee that you humanely kill it hitting it with your Paj, or hilux, the preferred vehicle (haha).
