    how fast?

just curious as to how fast you all ride?.

i live on a rural windy road ( roads in good nick)
this morning 4 bikes flew past my house ,
its the fastest ive seen bikes go on the road.
i heard them coming ages away then they came screaming past.
i wouldnt have a clue how fast they were going but it was way fast.
then about 5 mins later another few bikes came thrugh they were still quick but heaps slower than the first 4,
then another 5 mins a heap more came through , i.d say they were probably going 120.
but the first 4 were flying .
so just curious as to what speed you all ride on a back road thats in good nick and has heaps of windy parts .

    About 160...

But when there are townships, I make sure I do the speed limit..

I was pillion with a guy who was doing 230kph on some back roads! Fastest I've managed to get my current bike was 120kph on a downhill straight

I wouldn't mind knowing how fast I'm going. The KX hasn't got a speedo

ummm, little embarrassed here but my bike has a few issues and so I don't really trust it too much, so I tend to do 100kms on the straights, a bit faster if it's up to it, and around 80kms thru the average corner, less for blind/tight ones

I wouldn't dream of exceeding the speed limit.50 in a 50 zone and 100 in a hundred --Honestly
On a closed road under controlled conditions mind you I soppose well I might manage 120 if I was riding a HONDA VFR or $140 on a suzuki --but on a kwakka --well thats different. perhaps speeds of over 260km/h might be possible

Sometimes going down a country road, I think why didn't I buy a Hayabusa? Then I relise I'm only 14, getting my licence next month, restricted to the 250cc rule and don't have 20 grand in my pocket.

I try and keep to the speed limit but some times the Drake has a mind of his own. The beast just does not like being pulled back. Bit like the dog but there are times when you have to show who is the master.

Alright now we are coming clean... Im going to be honest, im not a law abiding biker, but im not a completely stupid one (insane..... yes)..... On the ZXR400, i was generally around the 160 mark and 180 mark around most corners probably hit about 210-220...

Fastest ive been on the road is 245kmh, anything over 200kmh is fucking quick (and you will be fucked if you crash)

But in the cities, i actually am generally a law abiding biker, there are too many variables and the risks are too high....

Speeding is fucking stupid..... Thats why i try and only go hard on the track...... but ofcourse the fuckers had to close the track....... DURING THE SUMMER!!!!!!
