Came home from a nice run to Coromandel Town, to hear this. Sad news - thoughts to family and friends.

Because about half of motorcycle accidents are caused by the motorcyclist. We are not better or car drivers are no worse than us.

However condolences go out to friends and family
GB and I are all sweet. I would say it happened about 15-30 minutes after we through there. Rood and weather were good. Heard a guy on the phone at Geraldine talking on the phone about the Fairlie - Geraldine road being closed. It all makes sense now. A bit disturbing it was so close to us.

Thanks for the text Dale, pleased you're thing of us.

It's the Biker Death Season. Please be careful out there people, particularly on group rides.

Man dunno bout you lot but im sick to death of reading about all these fatalities, really saddens me. Had such a lovely day in which to ride im sitting here bathing in the after glow of a fantastic ride, bacon & eggs washed down with a few cold beers & the thought of people not making it home is bloody terrible

Enjoy every moment you have with loved ones folks, you never know when your number is up.
