Can anyone recomend a place on the shore to get some tyres fitted? My new tyres have arrived but holeshot and cyclespot want to charge me $60! I don't want to head over the bridge because I shouldn't be out riding with the tyres in their current condition. I pulled away from the lights today and my wheel just span on the spot for a second before gaining meager grip.

Probably waaaayyyy too late. But did you try Cycletreads, the guys there seem really reasonable.

Ring around for a good price, but I don't think alot of them will be open today?

Leading Edge on Barry's point road. Good bunch of guys there, have gotten nearly all of my tyres from them.

Any trye shop can do it, so ride around and ask a few
or buy a couple of tyre irons and do it yourself.

Don't people look at dates in these forums? I had the tyres fitted at Holeshot the day after the post.

Certainly did, figured it would be too late. But, since no-one had replied and there was a chance you hadn't done anything about it I thought I'd ask.
