i really think instead of cutting down EJ and telling him all these negative things we should be supporting him.

he has learnt from this and has the next huge task ahead of him.... a new bike there is so much else id like to say but have to bite my tounge

you all suck for judging the people he choses to ride with before meeting them and seeing how they ride.... you know who you are and im rather pissed.
I've learnt to hide the pain inside, open the throttle and ride away.

That was my "quick shifter" trick when I was playing in Clubmans at Raupuna.
Lean the VFR over in the sweeper till the peg folded up, and the gear lever got loaded, and keep the throttle pinned.
The bike would pivot round the lever, lift the back wheel off the track, unload the box so the next gear would slot home, while the drag slowed the bike slightly to stand it up a little, wheel back on the track, gear change done, and still at full loud.

As an aside, anyone who followed me into the corner would back off real quick, waiting for the crash. Was good for a couple of bike lengths up the front straight

Ah, just found where you said you hit a kerb. Didn't think your slide should have done so much damage.
Any word yet from the insurance company?

EJ, you clearly need a bike that lives up to your ambitions and ability.

As said earlier today if you want to keep riding like that you need a bike that can ride like that. I think your acccident was more of an indictment of your bike than you.

Pretty good, if you set it up to film a corner sequence.
