pretty unique to get a picture like that outside of the track environment! (just include it with your insurance claim )

hopefully your back on the road soon.

Can I get some information about getting a loan bike? Will the insurance cover the cost?

I must travel upto Dairy Flat near Silverdale to work but I don't have any transport at the moment

I dare say he should be riding a little ol'hornet! He seems the type!

btw EJ how did the gear stand up to the abrasive shock treatment you subjected it to? Piccies? Would be good to see how having you, the bike and the road on it!

Oh fuck, EJ!!! Now I know what everybody was talking about and confusing me when I asked to go for a ride today in your `Quiet' ride thread

So sorry, mate. Have you worked out what happened yet? I would've thought if you kept everything smooth line-wise, light power, didn't grab the brakes or hit poor surface, it ought to just carry on gripping. Gutted. Fantastic photo, though.

Damage doesn't look too bad -- just the light/instrument cluster? Handlebars bent? Hopefully the forks and all that are still straight. If it's just handlebars, lights and instruments, I reckon it's time to put clip-ons, bling speedo and streetfighter headlight on :rock-on: But then again it's a new bike... insurance and warranty to worry about.

So sorry to see the pride and joy all messed up. I hope that its more cosmetic than anything else.

But - Im just glad that you are OK.

I hope that it was insured?

Nice cornering skills EJ! I never managed to get my knee down without falling off either!

Glad to hear you are reasonably sweet. Bikes can be fixed eventually. Nice pic to go with it too! When the time comes to sell it, have that pic with it as proof of its awesome lean angles

    Sorry about the bin.

Even Rossi does things like that occasionally. Best both you and he keep it to a minimum though...

Spoken like a biker .... I guess the worse news on the insurance front would be "we're fixing it and giving it back to you!"

And if thats the case .... maybe you should consider a hornet? (not my one dammit!)
