I think that's pretty cool really. A few of my mates would be categorised as fairly dodgy looking I suppose, but honnestly, they are just a lovely bunch of maniacs...and no, I wouldn't encourage anyone to piss them off, but in general they are very good blokes just out for a good ride.

I'm with DUMPTY but want to go further...

No doubt some people here would have a bad gang story. Sorry if you have...

I've never had an issue with "gangs"... I guess part of this is a sense that comes from growing up in an area where they were as much a part of the social network as they were the scenery.

When parked up at the same stop I have never experienced any "Jap/Harley shit talk" but rather an interest in each others bikes and if the conversation goes on maybe even swap bike stories. However during that time - I never overlook what it is they might do off their bikes and keep it firmly logged in the back of my mind when Im in their company.

But for an instant I get to see and hear the biker in them.

Sure its my choice...but thats what I choose to remember.

    Just my $0.2 worth.

Interestingly enough I find it to be the "Sportsbikers" to be the most judgemental riders on the road

yep. when they come into my work, i often find that two wheeled folk, both patched and not, have better manners and are more friendly than the 80 year old lady in front of them. almost always get smile and whatnot. never really had the chance to engage in a coversation with them, but i wouldnt hesitate... they would have to start it though, lol. too gutless to start it myself.

yep bro....In my experience that has certainly been the case. Thankfully no one I know.

And I have to say...some of the most impressive road riding I have ever seen have been by Harley riders.
Barrel on the back, 2 cent coin on the front, lagging throttle and dealing to a section of twisties or group of cages like they werent even there....

Some people need to get around.
