Thread: What do you guys think of the 2008 650 Cagiva Raptor?

    i have a 1000 cc raptor and havnt had any quality problems the Raptor was designed by the bloke who designed the duc monster and side by side they look a lot alike, the riding position reminds me of a trail bike sort of position so you arnt arse up and loading your wrists up around town, you can sit on the open road around 120 to 130 ks without to much wind resistance ( the 650 has a small screen anyhow) the 650 and 1000 are the same size bike. there arnt many about but thats not a bad thing seeing as everybody has a gsxrrrr whatever so you can stand out in the crowd a bit..

    Go for it Bandit Girl. They are a nice looking bike that has European flare with Japanese reliability. Thought about getting one for myself a while back but think I'm a little tall for it. Will be more of a talking point and draw more attention than say a suzuki 650 me thinks.
    There are no strangers in Kiwi Biker, only friends I haven't yet met.

    Hey guys, your thoughts, opinions and research are noted and appreciated regarding this type of bike.
    I'm wanting to get a newer model and have pretty much made up my mind to buy one. Not easily persuaded hey,lol
    Yeah they're definately a bike that perform well and look sexy.
    ARGGG.... work is taking up way too much of my time.....i need more time in the day to go for a long ride.
