Hoping to get down there if I can get my bike ready in time and keeping an eye on the horizon for the expected showers.

That was awesome! Didn't see you there Buddy. What about you GR81, did you make it? Got a bit more confidence and cleared a few more jumps today.

i was there, buddy couldnt make it.
i didnt see you there tho, i was keeping an eye out too.

its an intimidating track first time out ... but after the first 20min session it felt a lot more comfortable and i was starting to hit a few of the jumps part way through the day. would help with some rear brakes tho

excellent weather and a well run track, thanks scott

The one jump I'm not comfortable with is the start straight jump for some reason, but I'll get over that soon. And the step up jump. But with each 20 minute session I'm getting more comfortable and each lap I concentrate on the jumps that I'm feeling pretty good on and trying to improve my jumping on those. They all get easier with every ride. When I used to race there in the 80's you would go over the first table top, then the double, make the left turn and enter a set of 6 whoops. Now its a table top, but the whoops used to be the most intimidating section of the track however with practice I used to be able to take them two at a time. Its really just a case of getting used to air time again for me, as we don't come across a lot of that sort of thing in the majority of rides I do these days, but I've enjoyed the last two Saturdays out at Harrisville and will attend more while the weather and track is good.
