This isn't possible, obviously, but in superman (acid) land, would you crash over and over given you cannot hurt yourself, others or the bike? IF it still gave you the adrenalin fix.

Sounds stupid, but I'm interested to know how many ride for adrenalin.

Crashing is sooooooooooo sweet that I want to crap my pants. I can't believe it sometimes, but I feel it inside my heart. I can't wait to start crashing next year. I love crashing with all of my body (including my pee pee).

I remember an sf short story I read years ago based on the premise of a society with advanced medical capabilities, where dying in particularly gruesome and/or painful ways (and being subsequently fixed up) had become an entertaining hobby for the ennui-ridden.

    Crashing could work like that.

Anyway, I'd quite like to be able to head out on a racetrack with guaranteed immunity from injury and bike damage. It'd be a great way to get fast quickly.

If there was to be no consequences, I can think of better things to do than crash a bike...

    Weird question indeed.

If I knew that I neither would get hurt, hurt anyone else nor damage my bike - sure I'd do it heaps just for the experience. Bit like playing the good old stunt driver simulator to try and make the most spectacular crash - and sometimes you could even fuck the physics of the engine so badly that your car would go spinning skyhigh for 5 mins before coming down again...

But then again, I doubt there would be much thrill involved in crashing in supermanland though... It would get old pretty quickly.
It is preferential to refrain from the utilisation of grandiose verbiage in the circumstance that your intellectualisation can be expressed using comparatively simplistic lexicological entities. (...such as the word fuck.)

Crashing always gives me a really bad nervous feeling in my stomach. But that's probably due to the anxiety of not knowing how much things are going to cost, or how much it is going to hurt later...

In saying that I cant really answer the question 100% honestly. It would be cool to be able to do what you mention, and if it were possible i would have no problem with crashing assuming I learnt from each incident. But surely removing the likeliness of loss or injury would somewhat detract from the amount of adrenalin you get from the given activity? I'm sure my adrenalin buzz comes from the apparent (and sometimes real) danger of crashing.

    What about Panadol?

I dont ride for the rush, but for the pleasure of being out there doing it.

Mind you the adrenalin buzz at times is very cool.
