    Bugger.
Going to have to get a radar detector
I would have thought stopping being a twat would be a good start and get a detector when you learn a bit more.

If you want to check how far out your speedo is, on brighams creek rd whenuapai there is an electronic speed check for motorists with bad habits. It will tell you how fast you are going up to 80.

Oh and i was not doing anything dangeros when i was pulled over, they were.
    Nothing dangerous eh?

Why is it that learners have restricted hours?
Is it because they're young and their little brains can't handle the big stresses of the real world?

You were lucky to keep your bike and your license, anything over 41kph above the posted speed limit is instant loss of license - you were lucky.

Don't bitch at others breaking the law when you blatantly go about doing it.

If i had wanted them to get in trouble then i would have called the main cop shop. Yes i was lucky hence i am saying thanks.. And do i feel it was dangerous? No. I feel that i could safely ride down that road at 2 AM, on a dryish night, no wind, no other cars around (apart from the cop) wearing my full riding gear and on a regoed and WOFed bike.

Hey come on...not all learners are 15 you know. And as for the 41 over, yes...except McDuck was in a 100 zone.
Potentially he could have been done for...
    Exceeding by 13
    Breaching licence - after 10pm
    Breaching licence - exceeding 70
    Failing to display rego plate
    Did I miss any??
Personally I agree (sort of) with the cop's action - I'd guess that if all else had been kosher, he may have done a warning only on the speed.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

When you get a bit of life experience then maybe you might know what is actually nice is.

The cop wasn't nice - he was doing his job. You were lucky he didn't ticket you for everything he could have (probably felt sorry for you). You blatantly broke the law yet you bitch about other kids your own age (teenagers) larking about.

You got busted, pay the price, don't blame the bike - quit bitching.

Most speedo's are calibrated a certain percentage under the 100kph limit. As well we have an 11kph buffer over the limit (I highly doubt there is anything wrong with your little speedo) - you were speeding and are now bragging about it on a public forum well done, keep it up, you'll get noticed.

The 100kph limit does not apply to learner licensed drivers - hence why you have you own little rules to adher too. Maybe when you're a little older the goobermint might let you upgrade it . . . for a fee.

He's not bitching from what I can tell... I used to ride after 10pm while I was on my learners... (not on learners anymore)... what about people that have been riding for a long time... just didnt get a licence... so are on learners... and ride after 10.... its not unsafe to ride after ten IMHO...

*sigh* Whilst on a learner licence, a rider must not exceed 70kphh. To do so attracts a breach of licence conditions + $400 fine 25 demerits. If said breacher is in a 100k zone, but also exceeds the 111kph 'tolerance', then they will attract (in McDuck's case) a fine for 13k over in addition to the learner breach (unless they are lucky). The 41kph over and you are walking does not kick at a different point for any class of licence.
Best go back to the rule book, since you seem confused.

Let's all wrap the little boys and girls in cotton wool, and tell them only nice things - after we ask their permission off course.

sigh yourself. Read your own post. The 100kph limit does not apply to a learner licensed driver hence why they have there own conditions as they are a learner.

not confused at all. I'm not a teenager bragging about what could've, should've would've blah fucking blah.

With the 41kph thing - like he's gonna know that. With the attitude he has been displaying, won't be long until he is walking - just ask SM how that feels.

As a learner exceed 70kph on the open road - risk getting fined.
Exceed 100kph on the open road - bringing yourself to plod's attention - risk more fines.

Yay for the red rep, best you take your own advice.

This is what earns a red. You are only half right.
Restricted or full licence - do 115 in a 100 zone, you get done for 15 over
Learner licence - do the same, and you get done for 15 over AND breach of licence condition. You DO NOT get done for 45 over.

As for the 70kph restriction, experienced bikers understand the reason behind that rule, but almost never advise following it when on the open road...travelling on a bike at 30kph below the rest of the traffic is a good way to get yourself killed.
I agree, however, that a lone rider as in McDuck's case should not be doing anything to draw attention to themselves, so he was deservedly pinged and very lucky that he got off so lightly.
