Talking Anyone know this guy from Christchurch?

Hey Dudes and Dudess's tis Woodybee from Queenstown, how yol doing.....getting ready for the Rodeo Drool in Millers Flat on Boxing Day, Caynta tell!!! Got a thread going on that if anyone is free for Christmas and wants a bikey crew to knock around with.....albeit I am personally taking my trusty 4 wheeler to it, with nice comfy bed and a christmas tree..........cant see me able to cart one of the those on me Bonneville somehow eh

Anyway, the reason for this thread is, does anyone know the author of the book calledTwisting Throttle, Australia, the author is called Mike Hyde and aparently he comes from Christchurch.

Can anyone help, would love to email the dude and congratulate him on a fantastic read.

For those of you who have bikey mates and want to buy them something for Christmas, this is a definate must.

Its an hilarious read, written by a down to earth guy with the humour of all the bikers I know, and its funny being a cop in the UK, I always thought us cops had a certain sort of humour, which i kinda missed when I came to NZ, and is now the reason why I class bikers I meet at Rallies as Top Dudes and Dudess's as the Sense of Humour and Comradery prevails at these occasions, and when I'm at a rally I dont feel homesick at all, weird eh

Anyway, back to the book, he catalogues his trip anticlockwise around Australia, and having been there a few times, felt I was riding along there with him and he writes in such a way, that the Australian Sun beats on you as your read the book, the vastness of the place opens up that child like brain, we all have but dont dare to use very often as an adult, which dares to gravitate, read and inwardly digest and become one with the book. From towns crossed to bits of bikes lost or changed its an hilarious read.

You have to buy this book as a keeper.

He sounds like a wicked bloke and it would be fab to email him, which I why I ask you Dudes and Dudess's anyone know him and able to put me in touch with him.

The last chapter of the book, when he pays tribute to his wife family and friends is heart warming, which adds, to the characteristics of this compelling read.

Anyway, coi for now Dudes all, and a Merry Christmas to all, 19 sleeps to go till Santa comes, hope he remembers to read my list and push a Ducatti 1200 GT sport down my chimney only so it can keep my Bonneville company of course.!!!!!!!!!!
