Single rotor engine as far as I know. It ended up being a bloody bulky and ugly looking engine for the power it put out, but back then Suzuki were the 2 stroke kings and if they went straight to 4 strokes they were kind of chasing Honda and I guess they wanted a point of difference..

They have a single rotor, rated at 497 cc. There are around 1700 left in the world out of a total production run of 6750. Around a third of the ones left are parts bikes.Originally Posted by dangerous
The one in the photo is one of the original "M" model. That is with the round instrument cluster. It looks quite tidy, but its not in orininal condition. They came out with spoked wheels, but alloy rims. It looks like this one has inherited a set of wheels from a GS750. Have a look at my profile for another pic. There's an absolute minter written up in the latest BRM magazine.

Saw one up north in about 75-76,the only one I've ever seen.
Can't even remember what it sounded like,I was just kind'a stunned over all the round bits.Instruments, tail light ect, ect.
I reckon most radical things like that are a bit much for most bikers,we're a pretty conservative lot really.
Very interesting bike but.
There was one selling on trademe a few months back, went for pennies and was in ridable condition.
NZ must have more than their fair share of them...
I bought one of mine through Trademe. It was a runner, but needed some work done to it. I used some parts from my parts bike, some from the that one, and ended up with a tidy bike. One recently sold on ebay for US$12000+, but that was a new bike just out of the crate.Originally Posted by thehollowmen
