Two cans and then I ride home - or - three or more and get a lift.
The difference between 2 and 3 is quite noticable to me anyway, I would say 3 cans in a row is probably over the legal limit and sure as hell wouldn't like to find out the hard way.

Not even the one for me. If the copper stops me, I dont want to be thinking if this is where I walk home in disgrace

I got out of a very large ticket because i had no piss on my breath. I could see him watching the little screen. If ti had been positive i would have been in deep shit even if under the limit.

I don't do drink before I do either of those activities.

But I do think that riding a bike requires more judgement than a car. So anything that interferes with your sense of judgement is a really bad idea i.e. alcohol, drugs, tiredness etc.

Dont drink any alcohol before riding or driving. Rather wait till I get home and then have a few.

Besides that I have been stopped at a few checkpoints and always enjoy the feeling well you are not going to get me.

Also I like to think that I have full control of my abilities to ride/drive

In the cage, two beers. On the bike, none.
Actually, maybe 1. Go one then ... no - just the one thanks.

And with the wife on pillion, the big zero.

I will have the happy 1 but no more. If i,m talking the girl then its none. Rather not watch the bike go for a slide down the road just for the few drinks i could have at home.

I'm always up for a thirst quencher (1) if there's a great pub to stop at. Will drink lites if hanging around for a good feed and enjoy about 2-4 (lites) depending on time.
A fridge full of cold ones back at home, enjoying the afterglow of a fine ride are best.
