Yeah, sideways, through the hollow hubs at the rear.

If you like that you might want to try the KTM 950 supermoto. There was a shootout between it and the Ducati hypermotard 1100s and the BMW hp2 Megamoto in the Uk "BIKE" mag and the KTM came out tops. The BMW did have more power but it has a dip between 4000 and 5000 revs.

    I never said it was 10. Perhaps 8 1/2. But not 10...

May the bridges I burn light the way.

Been there. tested it for Kiwi Rider 18 months ago.

    Value for money - KTM.

Which do I like best - BMW.

And of course while not being as extreme - the Buell Ulysses is as good a handler as either - and also has the ability to convert into a touring or 2-up bike as well.

    slightly off topic

BMW gave me the HP2 to use over New years last year 06/07 for 4 days. Had to work on the Coromandel and used it to get around while not working.

whar a Firkin machine. in the gravel yeehaaaaaa. twist of the throttle and 140km/h came up very fast. (closed road of course) light and easy to handle.

on the seal double yeehaaa. overtook cars on the tight and twisties straights 4 at a time. what a great noise

When ya pulled up next to a 4 wheel drive ya look down on im its so tall.

and yeah 180kms out of a tank and was not comfy but who cares when ya havin so much fun.

what a machine it was. heaven

wonder if I can have this one this year
