Genital piercings, what do you guys think?

just quick history on why this has come up.

i recently got into piercings. i saw sum pictures of nape piercings (the back of your neck) on the net and liked them so i went into the local shop and got 1 done......... then another next pay ........ then another the next lol.

they are all now gone only 6 small scares left on my neck, mum had a nut becouse i then got my nipple done (PAIN) and made me take them out. welll long story short. i had 8 piercings done in total now only got 4.
both nipples
one in the inner ear called a Daith, again pain + blood this time.
and a lorum

i work retail so facial piercings are out of bounds + mum will see them. i also think 2 many look tacky and yuck, just a few nice place ones or even just 1 is best,

all my piercings have been done properly cept my lorum, wich is a genital piercing threw the skin at the bottom of your d*#k it was my least painful it was more of a mind thing .that i did my self becouse im only 17 and not able to get done properly.

ok nuf bout wat got me started. for my 18th birthday i was thinking bout a prince albert but i decied to go with a Apadravya wich is vertical right threw the head. most my m8s think im crazy ( alot of u 2

)

but what do you guys think about them and piercings in general??

Piercings are GREAT... I LOVE THEM!!!! I'll sit watching people get them done til I'm half vomitting in my own mouth.. Its awesome...

I have 4 in my belly button so it forms a cross.. Daith, tragus, 4 in lower left, 3 in lower right, 2 in upper right.. I want an industrial done.. Actually I have a huge list of ones I would like done... Its just money..

Pain and blood with a daith piercing...? Unless I read that wrong are you positive its your daith..??? My daith hurt for months afterwards but it never bled.. Not even a single drop...

Had my sternum done except it rejected... Most surface piercings have a high rejection rate.. Hence the nape of your neck spat the bar out.. (wanted that done too) My sternum had a plastic bar, so it was flexible... Instead of staying shaped like a staple, one end unbent and it gradually pushed the bar out..

I did have a look on youtube and there is another way that they pierce.. It apparently has a much lower rejection rate.. Its called an anchor piercing.. I'm not sure if you've heard of it.. But I'll be asking my piercer about it when I go back to get my sternum done for the 2nd time... Will be looking into it for future piercings that I would like done... *hasn't seen anyone with it done* but do look into it for the nape of your neck..

I say go for it.. But do some research into your piercer.... As there are risks involved... Eg: The piercer doing the job wrong and damaging nerves etc that shouldn't be damaged..

i am looking at a place in wellington or aukland. new plymouth is just people in it for money and not hygenic engouth for me for that one. yer im sure its my daith. its just behind the tragus.

the blood is just after i got home and had a shower. man it is hard 2 clean.
i had a white shirt on and every one was looking at me becouse the shoulder was covered in blood. the piercer wasnt very good. she wiggled and moved things around to much. thats why im looking out of town for a more experinced studio

oh and your nape it dosnt hurt as bad as it looks just get the proper barbells (stapel shape instead banana shape like mine) you can see them starting to rejcect. the scares are almost gone now but that doesnt bother me if they not go. just a shirt is good to wear if your sick of listening to people saying stuff behind you while you can listen to them. quite amusing some times. go stand in be long lines just to listen to people lmao.

Try Balistics in Auckland (Queenstreet) Blair is absolutely fantastic.. Extremely quick.. Not "fiddly"... Doesn't mind answering questions... If you're anything like my old lady he'll have done the piercing and you'll ask him if he's pierced it yet..

The only facial one I still have is my eyebrow now, I had my nose done, but it hooked on my helmet one day, so I took it out. I have 1 in the top of each ear, but because of the way they sit, they're not comfortable inside my helmet. The pic of the industrial has me keen now, it's profile should make it comfy in the helmet.

Genital piercings, no thanks, I don't even want my nipples done.

You pay people to disfigure you?? Are the scars in public view - well obviously not all eh!!!
I am OLD and thus OLD FASHONED but one day you too will be old. Old and disfigured perhaps? I have seen all the tattoo trends came and go too and see how embarrassed people are about them after time.

A friend of mine in SA partner has had the tip of his penis pierced... she says it has done wonders for their sex life and has heightened her pleasure quite a bit...

I used to have an industrial... if you get one... make sure there is plenty of play in the bar... as it will swell & if the bar isnt long enough... its not a good result lol...

I recently took out my nose piercing... and two eyebrows piercings (left side) as starting new job on monday.

have the lil bit in middle of ear done... (did have on both sides, just one side now tho)...

Decided to take some out to tone things down a bit so to speak... if I hadnt taken any out... I would have approx 24 lol!!

...

One of my fav's is my nipple piercing on the left side as I also have a tattoo that goes around my boob n around the pierced nipple

I want to get tunnels... but just little ones, just enough to see thru said tunnel. (like the really little ones lol!)

If you want to get something pierced or a tatoo, just do it. Asking peoples opinions is pointless.

Its not something I'd want and you need to decide what you want out of a whole life - not just the next 10mins because one day you WILL be 45 and you might just want someone to take you seriously... Yeah - it shouldn't matter but in some roles - it does, why limit your options? Still - it's a free world - fill yer boots mate!

As an observation, why waste money trying to look interesting when that same money could go towards doing something interesting like travel or buying a motorcycle?

Is it about being noticed - or sexual performance? The thread does say genital. Instead of getting stuff done to you to increase your chances and performance why not do stuff to yourself. Work out - get a sixpac abs and wear a tight shirt to show them. You will perform better and are more likely to get the chance to prove it. What are you going to do, have a chat up line like "Wanna see my dick, its got shrapnel poking out of it?" Speaking of which how would such piercings affect the ability to use blocking contraceptives? You want diseases??? AIDS???
