Psssh, you think you had it hard... you try convincing the nice lady at Personalised Plates into figuring out how to get 'FAGS MUST DIE' into 5 letters.

How is it going to help them any more than if they were do simply drive down the road looking up driveways? (chief reason why a lot of bikes tend to go straight into the garage when they get home)

Sorry I can't follow your logic.

Agreed, it's best not to park the bike where it can be seen from the road.

It'd be a bit inconsistent to hide the bike around the back of the house, then put a picture of the plate on the 'Net which gives anybody who wants to look access to your address.

Well here's another scenario then... If I'm a bike thief, all I have to do is sit on the waterfront in Akaroa on any Sunday, all the lovely bikes worth stealing make it there eventually... Having an anonymous number plate only works if your bike never leaves the garage.

OK we'd better agree to disagree; you stay away from Akaroa, and I won't publish my plate on websites.

I hope we can both hang on to our bikes meantime
