    Great news.
Will have to make it up there on the thursday sometime with the kids. they love the sand!

You only need two tools in life - WD-40 and Duct Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.
And now a third thing a bloody big gun to shoot theives with!

Good news. Is the park going to be open during the winter months during the week? Tend to ride out there every week during the winter but go else where in the drier months if I can. Might take awhile for people to catch on that its open during the week as a lot have been scared off by the tresspass notices recently so keep it up. Thursdays are good for a lot of my friends so its good that its open later on that day.

Yes, definitely during the winter as this is prime riding conditions in the sand. Shit, you know this what am I telling you for.

Yes, it will take a while to get riders back during the week but we had to go back to move forward.
The trials area will be starting to take shape over the next few weeks. If anybody has any materials they would like to donate then please contact us or Darren Stockman at Waitemata MCC.(big sucker pipes, logs and lots a big rocks.)
Might have to invest in a cheapy trials bike. A whole new skill.

    annual membership transferable

Hi, was out there last weekend and saw the price for anual membership $600.
A bit more than I was expecting, you'd have to go every 2nd weekend just to break even.

Does anyone know if the membership is transferable, in case i break my bike or leg?

Can't not say anything about this one. When you look at $300 to ride at kimmy's for a year and $600 for woodhill, I really don't see $600 worth doing.

I know the guys have done loads of work out there and it's great, but $600 is too much.

Yeah I was all for a season pass but thats just too expensive for my thinking. I would probably break even at that price with me getting out there most weeks during the week during the winter months. Don't tend to ride there in the summer much. I think I'll just pay per ride. Something to spend my cash on.
Had an excellant ride out there last night, all be it too short, but Phil was cool and had a beer with us at the end. Hopefully get out there earlier next time. Still miss the whoops though on some tracks that had nicely spaced sections and are now flat. After 3 hours I didn't even feel like I had been riding this morning. Guess thats the point for them, people will go back sooner because they are not as tired.
Good thing is that there are more warning and stop signs on the tracks that cross other tracks. Just need people to take heed at intersections and we can all keep safe. Have an idea about linking a few tracks to make a real cool circuit because now the arrows have changed in a few places not everything flows as it could. Will look at that when we have more time.
Also saw two large wild pigs and a half dozen piglets trotting down a track towards me last night. There were a couple of brown and white spotted piglets and they soon turned and took off, looked real funny. Also saw a ginger cat in there along with the usual rabbits and deer.
