Born to ride
I would really like to beleive that it was just some gutless retard who backed into it with a car, rather than malicious intent. Either way, that sucks arse man.
Does suck alot, any other marks on it, i.e. different colour paint from an impact ?
Look on the other side as it could have been hit from that side and forced over.
did you find your bike the same way you left it? (same way you parked)
bloody gutless fucktards no respect.....
hope you catch them, but chances are slim...
I've learnt to hide the pain inside, open the throttle and ride away.
I just dont get it...
If it was malicious... then I really dont undertsand...
If it was not, why not just leave a note and say "Sorry dude, my bad, please call 021 ******* to discuss"
People can be so rude and inconsiderate... what the hell happened to treating people the way you would want to be treated?
Its because as soon as it happen most people see $$$$ that they have to pay (if it was hit by a car) and there are a good number of people with no insurance and if they do have insurance then they dont want there no claim bonus to go etc, the only time these people will own up is if someone saw them or that the owner of the car/bike they hit is there.
I had one a few months ago when I did not see a women park up behind me at a service station, I hit her car (at like 5-10k) and stuffed up her number plate, i waited by her car till she came out and said sorry and that there was no real damage but if you she wanted a new number plate then they are only like 20 - 30 dollars at the post office and I am more than happy to pay for it and offered her my cellphone number, she said "oh dont worry about it, its just a number plate".
I had some dumb beyatch reverse into my ZX6R and knock it over, over the right hand side... I just took her licence off her and wouldn't let her leave till she paid me what the damage was worth![]()
I backed into a bike in Welly on my ginny earlier on this year - just bad judgement and thinking about the day ahead, not what I was doing at the time. Felt like shit and left a note under the seat strap. Nobody got in touch tho. Still feel shitty about it but bike seemed OK. Thank god it wasn't too heavy for me to pick up!!
I hate it when people do stuff and don't take responsibility for it. Yes, it might be $$ in the end, but surely it's better to have to shell out $$ than to live with feeling shitty? Maybe that's it - maybe people who don't own up simply have no conscience?
Hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way
Yeah, the bike was parked exactly how I left it. There was no paint marks at all. I think someone just walked past, saw my bike, and grabbed a baseball bat and took some swings at it.

I would not fix the damage, but park the bike in the same area and watch who comes over to take a look at it...
Usually a gutless animal comes back to the scene of the crime.![]()
so do you think it did not fall over or anything.
