On transfer from Evil Forces are Gathering thread...Bikers are good for the country because...(AKA the New Zen of Political Influence and Motorbike Riding)

We use less fossil fuels thereby depleting less ozone and should be given global warming credits on the annual rego charge

We take up way less road space and if everyone was made to ride bikes Auckland's traffic issues would be solved in an instant, by doubling the number of lanes in the same available space [Im sure theres something wrong with this concept but cant think what it is right this second, something like "if everyone rides them, we wont be special"]

We learn skills that make us instantly better social citizens - like an improved sense of local body responsibility (know the roads and pay attention to the road surface), and community mindedness

We possess a general stunningly superior awareness of other human beings in the social "road", have enhanced risk and cautionary assessment skills that can be used for social problem solving, and are inbued with the patented Kiwibiker Responsibility Taking Norm...

We contribute to raising the country's knowledge economy innovation skills when we extrapolate the motorbike skill of knowing when to NOT sit in a line of baaing sheep traffic...

We are happier and use less anti depressants. We can make our own fun and live out loud, creating intergenerational examples to offset the nihilism of the X generation and capitalist modernity...{aww fuck they re elected Bush}...

I know, I know, some of you just RIDE cos you LIKE IT. Blah. Deeeeep.

    I CANT rationalise it??????

If I cant rationalise it I cant cope. I once fell in love with an American chick (yes well :confused2 she was a political lobbyist and incredibly complex intellectually and great with a whip, I couldnt help myself) solely because she said there was no such thing as overanalysing.

I live the Unexamined Life is Not Worth Living quote!!! I hate people who dont think, they vote for Bush and Brash! I am very grumpy that you even said that, Pwalo, life is so shallow I just cant operate in a world where Playstation II is the most meaningful choice in the day...*whimper* I dont care if y'all dont understand me..

Im leaving for a while because Ive become incontrovertibly saddened at the inability to engage with the concept that biking can actually be meaningful as a developmental process....its not ALL grease monkey, yanno!!!!

    grrrr Oh well, fuck it.

Sadly anyone with the stats on the nuber of bikers who kill and injure themselves in single-bike "riding like a twat" crashes will probably argue agin.

And taking responsibility? Are you reading the same site as me? You know, the one where breaking speeding laws is never one's own fault, but rather because the (police/society/LTSA/politicians/social workers...) are all at fault?
Look, it's an itsy bitsy Bandit.

First you say your superior Nick, then you go 'expect faghotry on a grande scael'. You are just a wanker man. Get a life.

    I'm superior anyway
