I am in. An alternative going back is the ashley 4wd track from the Okuku bridge to robinsons road (involves a crosssing of the okuku), stop for a swim in the Ashley. The Eyre is always good for a laugh as well, a bit more technical than the waimak.

Plug, where did you get your sheepskin seat cover, I am doing a lot of kays in the next few weeks and need some padding (getting old),

    cheers

Can you put up a map? I'm a little confused as to where you mean.

Thanks for the ride today, was bloody awesome.
Here's hoping Pete feels better soon and his bike is back on the road just as quick.Man,when I saw how far you went....I was surprised to see you walking. That was a scary fall.
I now know I need to invest in some earplugs, the haul from Oxford to my brothers place in Swannanoa was painful.
Also, must say thankyou to the man with the KTM for helping me with the rear brake, made the rest of the ride a lot more enjoyable.

Awesome day guys. Fantastic road, scenery, weather and company. Speedy recovery Plug. Where's helenoftroy when we need her eh? It was certainly an 'oh shite' moment when TA waved us to slow down (as if I ever go fast - must be the slowest Transalp in the land!) and the next thing we saw was the skid mark going over the side. All the best for Xmas folks and see ya'all next year. Cheers, Tim & Deb
