    Brown's Bay Saturday monkey fun

Driving down from Longbeach & Brown's bay on Saturday about 3:00 or so and I saw coming towards me bombing down a steep hill a 50cc scooter - with not one, not two, but three teens in shorts, skimpy tops, no shoes and one helment between them.

    Yeehah, let the fun start!

The wife pointed out 20 yrs ago I would have done that myself, but if it was you, and you are reading this, you might like to look at ride2die, or my leg from when I thought it was clever to ride on a scooter in shorts.

but yeah even coming off a scooter in my kevlar hurt
    some people have no brains
I've learnt to hide the pain inside, open the throttle and ride away.

And? They'll learn the hard way won't they. Last time i checked we lived in a country of free-choice. Perhaps not for helmets, but its up to the individual what gear they wear.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.
