Waterproof pants?

So im looking for some replacement 100% waterproof pants. currently have some cheapies from way back when i first bought a motorbike (mobigs) and they are starting to leak in places where a guy just doesn't want them to

o and price range would be anything up to $350 (as anything more and i may aswell go leather and wear overpants..which is not an option for me )

So any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

My Teknics started to let a little damp in...so I bought a pair of most excellent, light PVC's from the Warehouse for $18 and a jacket for $13. Certainly did the trick.

I bought the pants not long ago and yesterday,first time I'd been out in decent wet weather,my bum got very wet! I noticed they don't have any of the plastic backing on the stitching,so that may have been the problem.

Na. The Jacket is quite heavy plain Yellow and the paints are either the heavy PVC in a green or a light PVC in a navy blue. (I got the blue) They have welded seams.

I don't know how long they will last but they paid for themselves over the duration of the GC.

u were joking riite ....?(ahh yes the silly season has arrived) no im not allergic to leather ,but i get random spasms upon looking at the price tags .Well leather isnt all that waterproof now is it ... so yes codura seems to be the way to go for wet weather rideing.

Why on earth would you think I was joking?
It was a serious question, given that you can easily get good quality leather pants from here within your budget I assumed there to be some other reason.

Leather will usually be fine for half an hour in the rain. $12.00 warehouse leggings have worked wonders for other times over the past few years.

Yep true have checked there and enquired about their codura pants,o and i should've mentioned that i commute rain,hail or shine to palmy north every day,so that it why id said leather is not an option,although i would if i didnt have to do my commute.

"Huggies" are good... as long as you dont fiddle with the elastic around the leg, they never leak...

ive got rjays... they havent leaked at all... but then, they are less than a month old [bought em just before the burt challenge] wore them the whole trip pretty much. one of my best bike related purchases yet.

they were less than $150.

I've got the Factor pants and they're great.

No leaks all winter commuting every day in Auckland. The armour did the business when I was taken out by a car and only have a 1mm scuff (as it was wet).

Plus they look pretty cool too (for codura).

And they're $300.
