Just to let you guys know, SH16 is pretty good now, came up it after having a new tyre on ... not a worry.

The best deals, all the time!
Went for a bit of a break in the new bike ride on Saturday and discovered that my Ceebie is great on gravel. It bloody needed to be SH 22 is shocking!Yes I know I'm a nana but shit, couldn't they have just fixed one stretch at a time rather than ninety seven 500m long patches at random intervals??
The bike went great though, apologies to the Bluell and Harley we blew off of SH1..love the expressway...love my Ceebie![]()
Its never too late to have a happy childhood!

100 Meters of new seal and loose chip about 5kms down Bethels Road, should be OK in a few weeks - not sign posted either...nice
patches of gravel and loose chip , sign posted at 30kph but on blind corners as well as straights
:-)
Bit of re-selaing has been done here recently so stay in the vehicle tracks. Two sections, further north of the two not so loose anymore.
Awesome idea to have road cautions on this site..........It would be good to have seperate updates for each region..........Heres another one.........After Mangakahia road, past twin bridges on Tangowahine Valley Road ( Back way to Dargaville ) is about 5k's of road resurfacing, heaps of fresh lime and mud when wet.
Re-sealing has been done at the bottom of the hutt side (I think around 300 metres from the bottom to the beginning of the passing lanes) ... crap loads of loose stones.
Cheers
Nasty

Jervois Quay and Waterloo Quay have been grooved for re-surfacing. Lost the front in a particularly nasty set of deep grooves braking for an idiot trying to change lanes into my physical space. Saved the front by leaning on the car.
No damage to me or bike. Car has broken front passenger window (bar end) and dent in door.
Police chap behind me has dealt to the ticketing and charging process. Good man.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?
