Most your best tank options are there.
It takes about a week and a couple of days to to get them normally if in stock... don't now about this close to christmas.

seems to range from US$185 to US$550 plus shipping depending on brand and capacity

I got my IMS here in a week from JustGasTanks but that was just over a month ago.

I made my tail rack out of 8mm bar. Wasnt too hard if you have a welder. It is much longer than the standard Suzi racks and closer to the bike i.e. less in the way. Could be talked into welding up a rack for you if you want. Something like the pics attached wouldnt be too hard (bar easier than the rhs though).

RHS is rectangular hollow section i.e. rectangular tube like the rack on the yellow bike.

The bar I used was 10mm (not 8) Pic attached of my one (this was just after I installed my IMS tank). PM sent.

Thanks transalper but easy to get from Bunnings (which is I think where you got yours from). El Scooto just got some flat which I'm sure we "borrow" a bit of.

    Cheers to you both!

I did the Lees Valley today, but went onto reserve just as I left at the Loburn end. Be great to make up a rack this week, that way I can carry a spare petrol can until santa brings me a safari tank.

begs the question whitch way did you go and where did you fill up.

Then one wonders how the DRZ400 went for you and what wat the big crossing like?

I went from Oxford to Loburn.

The DRZ was great, first proper ride out on it so I'm still learning it's character. Nice low end power and stable at speed.

The river crossing was fine, then again you know me and 'testing the water'!

I have an old DR600 tank - not sure how many litres but it's not small. It needs repainting. No tap or filler cap but they are all the same size. Might just slot on ... $50?

Probably wont fit cause the DRZ is water cooled. Wont have any mounts for radiator shrouds either.
