Well.. can officially say I have been on a Wed night ride now!!

Rode down from Nelson today.. got into Hoon Hay bout 5.50.. dumped my gear, off to fuel up & straight to the meeting point! & whadda WICKED turnout!!!!!

30ish?? bikes!!!!

VERY cool being able to put a heap more faces to names!!

great to meet you guys & girls (those who I got to talk to anyway.... so many people, so little time... ) most awesome to put faces to names of those with whom I have been communicating with for some time!

Off through town to the tunnel & around the bays.. (bought back many memories of my years in ChCh!! ) regroup at Wheatshief (however the hell it's spelt! ) & off towards Akaroa. Felt a bit rusty on the hill.. but I spose it HAS been over 6 years since I have been that way..

Bloody hungry by the time we got to Duvauchelle's.. (hadn't eaten since Springs Junction @ 2pm!!) had a good feed & catchup with the crew, then headed back towards town bout 9pm. Got SERIOUSLY bug splattered round the bays!!!!!

All up.. have done about 600ks today!! & feeling rather jaded bout now.. so I'm off to

might even have a sleep in tomorrow!!!
