Just stick to throwing bits at your locals!
I just painted my bike, I don't want things coming my way either.

I wave at everyone if I see them and can get a hand off the bars safely otherwise try and nod. It's a bit harder waving while riding round town as going slower etc, so normally nod at bikes.
Life is difficult because it is non-linear.

Riff Raff if i saw you waving i would wave back. Wasnt to long ago i was riding around on a 250. Might not always wave but a nod would be ok. Have to keep both hands on my new ride sometimes haha

    Well I wave to...

roadkill, cars, empty tui cans, harley riders, hitchikers, aeroplanes, signposts, trucks, gravel, cows, goats (only wild ones), mountains and valleys...hey I know what it's like when they don't wave back, I find it a bit snobby to, but then again, they may have their reasons....LOL, at the end of the day get used to changing your wave to a finger, then laugh out loud in ya helmet, try it it's fecken funny!!

Surely it's not true that sportbike riders can't wave because they're staring at the front wheel and if they took a hand off the bars they'd go into a terminal death slapper.
    Is it?
    Lou

PS If you get a bike with cruise control you can wave with either hand or both!

    Crikey, I needed a laugh.

    Cheers.

    I'll still wave though.

I wave to everyone and i'm on a scooter. my measure of a real bikie is if they WAVE BACK.
if theyre too much of a snob to acknowledge a little sister on two wheels then theyre not even worth my time as a scooter rider and they arent real bikies!
"i'll get a real bike one day "

    hopefully that day is today!!

For all those non-wavers, this is for you:
Well, if we're out'n'about, you'll most likely get two waves!:spudwave: :spudwave:

Well... it does make a difference reading threads like this, to make you more aware.
I waved at a 250 rider recently, and they snobbed me. Maybe my bike was too sporty? :spudwhat:
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

I tend to think of waving when it's a nice sunny day in the weekend.... but not so much, when it's drizzling on the way to work
