    Can anyone ask for more...

Deliberately in this forum because without bikes, it would not have happened.
Yesterday, we went on a rollercoaster ride... http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...ad.php?t=63694
and ended up with a lovely xmas morning.
BUT the untold story lies below...
We are blessed with the KB friends we have made all over the country, but none more so than the ones right here in Hawkes Bay. Last night we had a 'drop round for a last minute xmas drink if you like' sort of invitation. So after playing sleigh to KB's secret santa, off round to the Zukins we go, a couple of Coronas in hand and a box of choccies for them cos they do so much in the way of opening their home and accommodating travellers.
We get the standard lecture about how that wasn't necessary and all, then Scott disappears inside. He returns with a card for Janet & I, signed by all our HB KB friends. While we are distracted with this, he then presents us with the clock shown. Secretly planned and organised through Nudemetalz. A one-off just for us 'cos we do so much for KBers esp in HB'.
    What? No we don't!
Apparently we do, so there it is...
With a wee tear in mine eye(s), I humbly thank each and every one of you.
Zukin, Wasp27, Gixxer4ever, Stickchick, Dooly, BigG, Robertydog, Grumpy, Speightsbud and your offline partners. If I missed anyone, blame me for losing the card. But not the clock. Now where will we hang it?

Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

    No, we're not Anne.
    We are very ordinary.
We treat people how we like to be treated, with respect and decency.
We help out when we can.
    We care about others.
The same can be said for so many ordinary folk, there are others much more deserving than us.
We are humbled, HB kbers rock!
As do a whole lot of others..
    Thanks guys

And that they are deserving recipients

They do a lot more than everybody knows, they are always offering their house to us to use for whatever, and are letting others stay there

    You guys rock

    Cheers

I'm so glad you liked it.
Zukin and I spent a lot of time gettting it "just right".
It couldn't have gone to anyone more decent.

That's gone to a fine deserving family - they've looked after us often enough.

    Merry Christmas.

It really did look very unloved. Specially as it was next to the R1 that the whole crowd wanted to look at. Gixxer 4 ever
