    Yay finally my first ride

Well finally the day came. Bike arrived last night, but I had had a few to drink, so it wasnt going to happen last night, then the rain arrived over night. Was thinking that Christmas Day was going to past without me being able to get on my bike that I have waited nearly 2 months for. But the weather cleared, roads dried out enough.
On goes my new gear, and off I go.

Then out of town and out to Rongotea, and back. Never stopped grinning the whole time. Had a few problems with taking off, but soon got that sorted. Was nervous heading out but coming home started to relax. Had a few spits of rain but nothing major.

    I am definately hooked.

I spent a bit of time at Linton with a bike (79 GS1000) a few years back. HEAPS of choice motorcycle friendly roads from the Rimataka's UP. ENJOY and ride safe ...be careful...rubber side DOWN.
