I am looking for a place to take my son to ride his bike.He is new to riding and is only 11.Is there anywhere to take him to practice in Auckland.He only got his bike today and has never been on a bike before,had him down at the local park but am not sure if he can ride there.Please help.

Woodhill has a kids loop that would suit him. I don't think he'd be able to get to much speed up there, and could follow the other kids round which would help hime pick it up easier. As it's sand based it's not to hard to fall over on, and better after a bit of rain. Have a look here www.thesandpit.co.nz

also Thundercross valley bike park in naike. They have a separate kids area with plenty of space.

where in akld are you , we used to go to , piha, bethalls,muriwai, just about ant beach on the west coast has heaps of room,

dont think u could go to piha as all the lifesavers are there, absolute cunts.

and bethells is proteced by all the maoris, but u might be able to get away with taking ur bike on the sand dunes tho. just ask the locals
