Talking Biker 'down' in Raetihi (28 Dec)

Yes folks, it's grey and rainy, and the constant stream of beautiful bikes of all sorts and sizes that have passed through over the last three/four days to and from Wanganui, seems to have dried up. And now I am down in the dumps. Might have to go for a ride to cheer myself up!

    Happy travelling to all!

This is a cool biker down thread! (though if you want to go down... I could make a suggestion...)
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
    we will remember them

Are the roads drying up a bit out your way then?

    I'm just out of Turangi.
Thinking of doing a ride down to Wanganui either today or tomorrow if the roads dry up - never been down that way could be keen for a bit of twisty road action...

txt on 021 400 719 if ya keen.

    RIP............

Oh wait, just the normal mindless KBer reaction

Well it's a fast way to cheer yourself up. Find some tiny little narrow country lane and do the thumper thing. First day back at work last night and I was feckin' miserable and pissed off until I took the long route home

Oh I would so love to be able to get up around those roads up there for a run, I used to live for a few years in a little village just south of National Park call Waikuni, I spent many many hours riding my push bike on those roads, and wishing I had motor attached.... One day I will get that way. Fingers crossed and all that.
